Are you a current law student? Are you passionate about charity law? If you’re interested in charity law and enjoy writing, the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) has a great opportunity for you.
The CBA is running an essay contest with an award consisting of $500, complimentary registration to the Charity Law Symposium (in years offered) where the winner is presented with a certificate, and publication of the winning article on the Charities and Not-for-Profit Law Section webpage.
Papers must address a significant theme in Canadian charity law and not-for-profit law. No tangents! It needs to be researched and written by one author and be the author’s own original, unpublished work. The paper should be 12-30 pages, including references. The deadline for submissions is Monday, May 2, 2022.
