Camp Ministry Makes an Eternal Difference

One Hope Canada is passionate about sharing the Gospel with children, youth, and their families, and equipping others to do the same. With more than 5.8 million children and young teens in Canada, it is a challenging and exciting mission field.

This vision for ministry is not new. More than 90 years ago, dedicated men and women traveled to rural areas where they would invite children to attend Sunday schools and camps. They would teach the Bible, share the Gospel, and ultimately reach whole families for Christ.

Eager to have fun and learn more about Jesus, children came in droves to the very first Bible camps, held under the banner of Canadian Sunday School Mission (now One Hope Canada).

Today, One Hope Canada has more than 40 Bible camps and community outreaches in all 10 provinces. Its mission remains steadfast: to present the Gospel, particularly to those having the least opportunity to hear of Christ and especially children and youth, and to disciple believers for living and serving through His church.
