In this contract position you’ll be part of a fast-paced and creative team that helps Christian charities be exemplary, healthy, and effective.

Does the thought of taking the lead in managing and implementing CCCC’s new online education courses excite you? If so, our growing ministry has an opportunity within our Operations Office that you will be interested in!

WOULD YOU ENJOY DOING THIS WORK?
Managing a comprehensive process to identify and fill gaps in CCCC’s Knowledge Bank.

Managing CCCC’s learning program including sourcing course facilitators, quality control and feedback (e.g. acting on suggestions for improvement, evaluating course effectiveness). Providing guidance to the administrative assistant on how to load courses into CCCC’s learning management system. Collaborating with internal stakeholders in the design of online courses.

Writing content for online courses, CCCC’s Bulletin, conference workshops/seminars/webinars and website.

Representing CCCC as a speaker/presenter.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE…
An excellent communicator.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a portfolio which may include examples of blog posts, articles or other pieces that you have written.

Adept at learning on the fly.
You quickly grasp the essence and the underlying structure of things and are good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge. Learning to use CCCC’s learning management system and authoring tools would be exciting for you!

Passionate about learning.
You are passionate about learning and have a gift for teaching and explaining things to others. You have a knack for explaining complex ideas in a way that a non-technical audience can understand.

Creative and innovative.
You love working within a creative and innovative team and have a proven track record of building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications.
Minimum 5 years’ charity governance, or management experience
Undergraduate degree in business or equivalent
In-depth knowledge of charity governance, or charity leadership or Christian fundraising preferred, however we would be willing to provide training in this area to a candidate who exhibits the competencies identified above.
Demonstrated ability to create content (e.g. articles, webinars, blog posts, video)
Gift for teaching and explaining complex ideas to non-technical audiences
Experience or education in the area of adult/online learning (preferred)

LOCATION
This position is based out of CCCC’s office in Elmira, Ontario.
