In this contract position you’ll be part of a fast-paced and collaborative team that helps Christian charities be exemplary, healthy, and effective.

WOULD YOU ENJOY DOING THIS WORK?
Creating and Executing CCCC’s Communications Plan: Planning an annual schedule for communicating key messages; writing promotional content and content marketing messages; collecting, managing and publishing digital content through CCCC’s social media channels.

Managing the Production of CCCC’s Bulletin: Planning article topics in collaboration with CCCC staff; ensuring all deadlines are met for content development, advertising and design; editing all bulletin content, including articles and CCCC advertising copy.

Planning, Promoting and Producing CCCC Webinars: Planning webinar topics and delivery schedule in collaboration with CCCC staff; promoting and hosting webinars.

Promoting CCCC Membership, Products, Services, and Events: Producing marketing materials for prospective members; creating product descriptions and promotional campaigns for new products and events; arranging CCCC external advertising and sponsorships.

Editing and Proofreading Articles and Publications: Ensuring correctness, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all of CCCC’s print and digital publications. Making recommendations to contributors on use of plain language, grammar, and style.

Participating on Project Teams: Providing input from a marketing and communications perspective on various projects (e.g., annual conference, Certification program, webinars, CCCC products and services).

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE…
An excellent communicator.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a portfolio of your written work which may include examples of blog posts, articles or other written pieces. You have a knack for converting technical content into plain language documentation!

Tactful and able to move things forward.
Can quickly and sensitively edit other people’s writing for a variety of formats. Is a reliable project manager, coordinating the work of others such as the external graphic designer and internal contributors to CCCC’s Bulletin, webinars etc.

Adept at learning on the fly.
You quickly grasp the essence and the underlying structure of things and are good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge.

Collaborative and innovative.
You love working within a collaborative and innovative team and have a proven track record of building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree in marketing, English or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ charity management experience. Excellent research, project management and social media skills.

LOCATION
This position is based out of CCCC’s office in Elmira, Ontario.
