As a Programmer on contract with CCCC, you’ll be part of a fast-paced and energetic team that helps Christian charities be exemplary, healthy, and effective.

Are you an IT Professional with at least 2-5 years of programming experience who feels called to use your skills and expertise to benefit thousands of Christian charities across Canada? Do you love writing code and solving challenging problems? If so, CCCC’s growing ministry has an opportunity on its IT team that you may be interested in!
WOULD YOU ENJOY DOING THIS WORK?
You will be primarily focused on building, testing, and maintaining various web applications (e.g., writing APIs to connect to CCCC’s new learning management system) that are utilized by CCCC’s members to access our services and resources. You will also be involved in the maintenance of CCCC’s database content and reporting requirements. Assisting with the research of new technologies to help inform good management decision making will also be an important part of this role.

Known for writing beautiful code.
You have a strong background in object-oriented PHP programming and application architecture and can provide a portfolio of your work. You also have experience with multiple programming languages and development environments, including PHP (Laravel framework), MYSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

You are passionate about new technologies and pick up on technical things quickly. You are good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge.
Adept at learning on the fly.
You quickly grasp the essence and the underlying structure of things and enjoy the challenge of new and unfamiliar tasks. You are open to change and learn quickly when facing new problems. You are known as a continuous and versatile learner.
Professional and trustworthy.

You love working within a collaborative and innovative team and have a proven track record of building strong working relationships. Providing in-person technical support to CCCC staff members would be something that you enjoy.

LOCATION
This position is based out of CCCC’s office in Elmira, Ontario.
