RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will build, test, and maintain websites accessed by CCCC members for research, learning, and networking
- You will manage varying levels of website security and logins
- You will support the CCCC office staff with software and hardware installations, troubleshooting, and onsite server maintenance
- You will research and recommend hardware and software purchases and licenses
- You will provide support to end users for application issues
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of programming experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong object-oriented PHP programming and application architecture background (portfolio required)
- Experience with multiple programming languages and development environments, including PHP (Laravel framework), MYSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Codelgnitor
- Knowledge of Internet Protocols and Security
- Knowledge of hardware configuration, networking, maintenance, and installation
- Experience with Windows platforms (operating systems and servers), MYSQL databases, and website security/certificates
PERSONAL PROFILE
- You are friendly and willing to provide face-to-face support to CCCC staff
- You are self-motivated and able to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network and telecommunications hardware
- You are passionate about new technologies and willing to research and recommend new products
- You communicate well and enjoy working with a small team with a family feel
- You feel called to use your skills to serve Christian ministries in Canada
Salary will be based on experience. The successful candidate will be hired on a permanent, full-time basis with a comprehensive benefits package.
