{"id":34285,"date":"2022-05-03T15:13:48","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T19:13:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cccc.org\/news_blogs\/?p=34285"},"modified":"2022-05-03T15:13:50","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T19:13:50","slug":"bc-recovery-and-resiliency-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cccc.org\/news_blogs\/legal\/2022\/05\/03\/bc-recovery-and-resiliency-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"BC Recovery and Resiliency Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Did you know that BC\u2019s Recovery and Resiliency Fund for non-profits will launch in June 2022?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gov.bc.ca\/releases\/2022SDPR0015-000420\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$34 million fund is intended<\/a> to provide \u201csupport for organizations that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and that continue to struggle during recovery.\u201d The fund will focus on organizations \u201cwhose staff, volunteers, programs and operations have been disproportionately affected\u201d during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BC Budget 2022 provides $30 million of the funds, with the remaining $4 million from Vancouver Foundation. The funds will be administered by the Vancouver Foundation and United Way British Columbia. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newrelationshiptrust.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Relationship Trust<\/a> will administer at least $5 million of the fund specifically for Indigenous communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vancouverfoundation.ca\/grants\/recovery-and-resiliency-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fund provides<\/a> \u201cmulti-year, unrestricted grants\u201d to address both \u201cshort- and long-term needs\u201d that provide flexibility for organizations and resources could be used for projects including capacity building, digital infrastructure, staff training and retention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Details, application criteria, and guidelines aren\u2019t yet finalized. \u00a0For updates about when and how you can apply, you can <a href=\"http:\/\/go.vancouverfoundation.ca\/l\/468821\/2018-10-02\/3wv45g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sign up for email updates from Vancouver Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wondering about how to apply for grants?
