You can now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/tax\/representative-authorization\/before.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">authorize<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/tax\/representative-authorization\/cancel.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">remove<\/a> representatives on file with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/e-services\/e-services-businesses\/business-account.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">My Business Account<\/a> (MyBA) \u201cConfirm my Representative\u201d service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This does not apply to representatives who use EFILE and certified tax software to submit client tax returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven\u2019t set up MyBA, you\u2019ll need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/news\/cra-multimedia-library\/businesses-video-gallery\/register-mybusiness-account.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first go through those steps<\/a>. Once your account is registered, your representative needs to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/e-services\/represent-a-client.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Represent a Client<\/a><\/li><li>Submit a new authorization request<\/li><li>Include a certification page signed by you<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the request is submitted, you\u2019ll received an email notification that someone has requested access to your account. Make sure you\u2019ve enabled email notifications. Then you sign into MyBA to review the pending authorization. You can either confirm or deny the request.
