Who or what has the ultimate authority to demand our allegiance? What gives meaning or purpose to our lives? How do we best achieve civil peace and personal liberty?<\/p>\n
These are the sorts of profound and relevant questions addressed by law and religion. Faced with revolutionary upheaval in our legal and political systems regarding the status of religion, we must seek out the answers that will best equip us to navigate the complexities of a modern, pluralist society.<\/p>\n
At CCCC, we aspire to excellence; we are committed to building our knowledge and expertise and becoming thought-leaders in our respective fields. As we engage actively in matters of communal religious freedom \u2013 from the Trinity Western University Law School case to the Canada Summer Jobs fiasco \u2013 the Legal Department is supported by an extremely well-resourced, scholarly library that has been the lifelong passion of our Director, Legal Affairs.
