Financial Statements Part 1: Preparing Financial Statements

Financial Statements Part 1: Preparing Financial Statements

Part 1 of 2.

Every Canadian charity must prepare a set of financial statements to be submitted with its completed T3010 Registered Charity Information Return to the Canada Revenue Agency annually. In some situations, the charity may be required to have its financial statements reviewed or audited by a licensed public accountant.

If you are responsible for preparing your charity’s financial statements, such as a financial administrator or treasurer, join us for the CCCC recorded webinar “Financial Statements Part 1: Preparing Financial Statements" led by Curtis Towns. In this webinar, an introductory level overview of each statement (i.e., Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Operations) will be provided using an example of a basic set of financial statements.

This 60-minute webinar will include a structured presentation followed by time for Q&A. We trust it will be helpful to those who are new to preparing financial statements for their charity and to those looking for a refresher. Presenter: Curtis Towns, Canadian Centre for Christian Charities.
